There are a lot of different alternatives to lasik surgery. This is especially true when a person is considering all of the lasik side effects that are likely to happen to a person after they have had the surgery. A person is also going to need to consider that they are going to have to find a lasik surgery clinic and lasik eye surgery cost can be more than a person is going to have at the time that they might need to correct their vision. The most commonly done lasik surgery is going to be the EpiLasik eye surgery.

The first alternative to the lasik surgery is the Photorefractive Keratectomy. Photorefractive Keratectomy is another type of laser surgery that is very similar to the Lasik eye surgery. The biggest different is that they are no knives, microtome, and cutting laser involved in this surgery. This is one of the reasons that it is such a good idea for a person who has a lot of problems with their eyes being dry all the time to have some type of eye surgery. It is probably going to take a person a little bit longer to recover from this type of eye surgery. The second alternative is that a person gets a refractive lens exchange. This is where a person’s natural lens is going to be replaced by a lens that was made by man. This is usually done on an older patient that is very likely to have a cataract on their lives at some point in their life. The third alternative is an implantable contact lenses. This is where the eye surgeon is going to take a contact lenses and implant them into your eyes. Usually this is done on people that have a very severe case of nearsightedness.

The fourth alternative is that a person just wears glasses. This is one of the safest options that that a person can choose because there are no risks involved in the option. But it is not the best option for people who have really bad vision and they are trying their best to correct the problem. The fifth alternative is for a person to wear contact lenses. This is the best option for a person who does not want to wear glasses or have any type of surgery on their eyes. The contact lenses are going to be better for a person’s vision because the contacts are going to be put right on a person’s eyes.
